This James was living in Sterling in 1880 and had a son called Duncan, I have details on Duncan but interested in anything on the two James.

does anyone have information on John Kincaid who is thought to have travelled from Scotland to South Africa in the 1800's, his son WILLIAM THOMAS KINCAID was born in Cape Town, South Africa circa 1823. William Thomas Kincaid ended up in Victoria Australia where he married Eliza Rae and they settled in Daylesford having 9 children. William Thomas Kincaid was a miner who died 14-Dec-1903 aged 80, (his death register entry gives his father as John Kincaid, mother unknown, and having been in Australia for 50 years). thanks

Have reason to believe my 4th great grandfather Alexander Dunns mother was Janet Ferguson. She married John Dunn. Don't have any documents to finalize this. Aleaxander was born 1801 Balfron Stirlingshire, so Janet Dunn nee Ferguson was probably born about 1780? Does anyone know of either of these families? Would greatly appreciate anything. Searching for sibling, fathered by Walter Morrison Fleming. We estimate the date of birth to be around 1940 to 1944. We believe the mother lived in the Bannockburn area. We have no information on how the birth was registered. ANY information will be greatly appreciated.

I'm searching for descendants of a James Livingstone, believed to have been a Tailor in mid 1800's in Stirling. He had a brother Christopher, a solicitor. James was father to my Grt Grandfather William McDonald Livingstone born 1844 in or around Stirling who was later for a time articled to Christopher. This he at some point abandoned to join the 43/45th Co of Foot, later the Black Watch. Have no other early info on William at all, save that he later married Elizabeth Frances Wallace in Birmingham in 1879, listing James as his father and would be grateful to hear from anyone recognising a link somewhere with his original family.
