Mary Louisa Stevenson, b circa 1867 was living with her family at Rushy Pits, Hixon, at the time of the 1871 census. She went on to marry William John Peace, possibly of Pasture Fields, Hixon. They then, I think, moved to Amerton. I would like information on the area. In particular, I think Rushy Pits and Pasture Fields were probably farms - do they still exist? Are there still Peace and Stevenson family members in the area?
