Looking for any information about MARY ELGIE who married THOMPSON WALTON circa 1837. This might have been a second marriage for Mary Elgie. Were ther any children from her first marriage?

Trying to trace Henry Smith born circa 1830 Stoke. Married Caroline Hawthorne St Peters Stoke in 1850. Son Thomas born abt 1852. I do have Thomas' siblings, his marriage and children. Also interested in John Smith born abt 1800-10, Henry Smith's father and Thomas' grandfather. Henry and Thomas were living in Hardingswood Kidsgrove by 1871. Any hints appreciated.

William Henry miller, married to Sarah Mathilda Woodward, around 1900. Possibly married in Wrighley, lived at Tipton then moved to Cumbria.

Emily Cotton was my great great grandma and she got married to Alfred. They had fifteen children. There were twins which were stillborn and the other children are Alfred, Emily, Jimmy, Harry, Richard, Alice, Lavinia, Nelly, Sarah, Polly, Janet and Hilda. I would like to know of them and their living relatives.

I am from Australia & I will be most grateful for any help I can receive. Eleanor was the daughter of William Kendrick who I believe lived at Steelhouse Lane near Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. She married John Biddulph (who was cousin to Samuel Biddulph cricketer, both from Hyson Green. John I believe was a painter, they married on July 10th 1837 & a son William Kendrick Biddulph was born on September 8th 1838. John died about January 12th 1840. Eleanor then married a William Gascoigne (? lacemaker)& they migrated to Australia as assisted immigrants aboard "Agincourt" in 1848. I believe Eleanor may have had at least 2 brothers one William and one Thomas, wife's name was Louisa as I have found a letter from Thomas dated January 1872.
Arthur Prime of Staffordshire
Arthur Prime was born abt 1880 in Staffs. He married Margaret Burn Bankier in Qld, Australia in 1911. Killed in accident in 1915. Arthur was an Engineer and a BandMaster. Believe that Father was John Prime, Mother Maria Moss. Can anybody help with any info on this family?

In the 1841 Census, ROBERT and MARY ROBINSON were in Lincoln (St Martins Parish). Robert's occupation is listed as a butcher. Their family at that stage were: Mary (daughter), Charlotte, Louisa, Elger and Herbert. Another son was born - CHARLES approx 1844. CHARLES ROBINSON emigrated to NZ early 1860. ELGER ROBINSON married MARTHA and had one known daughter, LOUISA. They moved to STAFFORDSHIRE . Herbert moved to Staffordhire as well. The two brothers were joiners, Martha became a Grocer.

I am looking for information on g-grandmother, Alice Eliza(beth)Martin. She was born 12/25/1871 at Hollyhall in Staffordshire. Her father, David Martin was identified from Stafforshire and her mother Mary Law Martin was born around 1831. She had 2sisters: Mary unknown birth; Elizabeth H. born May 21, 1881 in Staffordshire. She also had a brother Joseph. I do not know of any other siblings. She and possibly her whole family emigrated to the US before 1895.

My sister and I are tracing our family tree and have so far discovered that my Great Grandfather's name was William Edward Robert Preece (hairdresser) - and his father's name was William Preece (pattern maker) William Preece married twice and at themoment we can not trace any details of a Morley C Preece - although he is shown on the 1891 Census aged 4. I would be gratefull for any information that anyone may have either regarding Morley Preece or any other information about Preece's who livedwithin the Staffordshire area.
