I am looking for further information on the family of Rosannah Heath baptised 1826 at St Thomas Dudley. She married Joseph Grainger at St Martins, Tipton in 1849. I know her parents were John and Jane and she had a brother, Samuel baptised at St Thomas, Dudley 1820. Rosannah and Joseph were living in Netherton in 1861. I can't trace them or Rosannah's parents on 1851 or 1841 census. Any info appreciated

My paternal grandmother is Minnie Bonehill, the fifth child of Henry and Eliza of Tipton, Staffs. There were 12 children in all. My father, Richard Stanley Cartwright, is her youngest of two sons. My parents (Betty Mary Findlay Cartwright), both from Tipton, immigrated to the USA in 1950. I was born in Louisville, KY. I am an only child and know very little about my father's family. The only siblings of Minnie I have met are Nellie and Betty. Neither had children. I am looking for any Bonehill's who may be related to me. I understand some have immigrated to Australia.

In 1861 Edmund POTTO (Born 1826 to 1829) lived on New Road Tipton and was a shoe maker. In Dec 1864 he married a Sarah Ann Maxfield (Born Tipton April 1840. Father William Maxfield,from Greeat Bridge, engine fitter). In 1881 Edmund POTTO (Potts) lived at No 71 New Road Tipton where Edmund was a master saddler. In 1891 he was living at 221 Dudley Port. He died in 1903 in Aston workhouse aged 77. If anyone can add further about Edmund's business in Tipton, or anything else relating to the POTTOs or Maxfields, I should be very grateful. Thomas Tudor was born about 1829 in Tipton, son of Moses and Mary Tudor. Mary was Mary Oakes. Moses died within 6 years and Mary married a Major Brown and had one daughter Hannah who married Isaac Whitehouse. Any information on the Oakes, Tudors or Browns would be welcome. Thomas emigrated to Australia in 1851 where he married and had 12 children, and I am descended from his second son. He brought his mother and sister out in about 1860. He was a miner.
