She remarried in 1876 to James Bloor in Stoke on Trent. Moved to 144 High Street, Aston ,Birmingham in about 1886. Thanks for any information
Robert Jardine/Railway Hotel
Does anyone have any information on the Railway Hotel in Rocester &/or about Robert Jardine who was publican there in 1890s to early 1900s. He & family are listed there in 1891, 1901 & 1911 census. I have a photo of the hotel (c.1908-10) from Staffordshire Past Track that mentions he was landlord at that time. Any further information gratefully received.

Thomas Vernon
I am searching for details of a Thomas Vernon born in Rocester about 1811. He married Sarah Elson & had 2 sons Stephen and John O'Connor Vernon. Have traced them through the census but have no details of birth, marriage or death. After 1851 census Stephen & Sarah disappear. John O'Connor Vernon married Emily Berks/Berks in 1862 in Etruria & shorttly after they emigrated to Australia. I have certificates for John's birth & marriage but not his wife or parents.

My Bond and Ward ancestors are all from Rocester, Staffs. William and Harriet Ward had 11 children, the eldest was Pamela,-b.1849 who married Sam Bond. My grandfather was Richard born 1868, was Pamela's eldest child and my father Colin, was born 1897. There was one girl and 7 boys. Some of the Bond children of Pamela & Samuel's, married into the Morley, and Bentley families. I would like find anyone who is related. Pamela Ward Bond married again in 1887 to Thomas Pegg, and had 3 more children, Pamela, William & Vincent Pegg. There are connections to the Lamburn family also. My grandfather worked in the Cotton Mill when he was a young fellow. My grandfather came to Canada in 1910. Anyone that can help please contact me.
