red mail Millwards and Tunnicliffs of Longnor.
My Great Grandfather William Salt married Mary Elizabeth Millward in 1868. The witnesses to the marriage were Joseph and Martha Tunnicliff. Mary Elizabeth and Martha were sisters from Longnor. William Salt lived at Moorside farm Hollinsclough, and Mary Elizabeth was staying with her sister Martha Tunnicliff prior to her marriage. The two families were very close, and one of Martha and Joseph`s sons Jim Tunnicliff was a friend of my Grandfather. Hope to hear from anyone researching the Tunnicliff`s.
