red mail Bagnall Farm, Bagnall
1. My grandparents William Thompson and his wife Florence, nee Mellor, Lived on Bagnall Farm, bagnall. Florence died on the farm. I think pneumonia. Children, Florence 1914, Margaret Emily 1915 and William Leonard 1918. Florence also had a son Henry S. Mellor b. 1912. After Florence died William married Matilda Simcock, who I believe was the sister of his sister in law, Sarah, married to his brother Noah. William and Matilda moved to Scotland in 1925. Henry wasn't with the family in Scotland. Did Henry stay with his mother when she married? Or did he stay with his grandparents Mellor. 2. How can I find out the history of the farm, was it animals or crops? Who owned it? I know that some of my family owned mink farms and other animals in the area. Is there anywhere I can get pictures of the actual farm through the ages as it seems to have been developed? Just a sentimental thought. Thank you.
