red mail Clowes Family Living in Alton Staffs area
I am searching for more information about the Clowes/Shirley family who lived in the Alton area of Staffordshire round 1850 - 1900. I am particularly interested in the children of Susannah (ne Shirley born 1855) and Thomas Clowes (born 1853) who were my great, great grandparents. Susannah and Thomas had 17 children. I have been able to trace 16 of these but still cant locate the 17th child. I am also keen to explore what happened to each of these children. I have traced the male children but am having difficulties with some of the females as I dont know their married names. In particular I would like to know more about Annie (born 1884) Margaret (born 1888) Bertha (born 1889) and Alice (born 1891) - However more information about any of Susannah's children and their descendents would be very gratefully received. I am very happy to share what I have discovered so far about this family.
