I believe that Charles and Louisa Hamblin had at least 4 children born in Stoford Somerset between 1835 and 1849. I think that Luoisa was also born in Stoford in about 1810 but I don't know her surname. Charles was born in Barwick in about 1809. Does anybody know parents of these two and any other children.

My sister and I are researching our family tree and have gone back to around 1800 in the village of Stoford where our great, great grandparents lived. James Woods, John Paul, James fox and his daughter Sarah are all established on our tree. I amd trying to link James Woods with John Woods born about 1762 in Stoford.

James Fox (Snr)was christened in Stoford 3 Jun 1792 and married Elizabeth Tucker on 28 Mar 1815 at Yetminster. He was an Ag Lab and raised a family in Stoford and married Virtue Maidment in Yeovil in 1847 after Elizabeth died in 1839. His son James was born in 1823 and was the miller at Frog Mill in Yeovil as well as running the grocers shop in Stoford for a number of years. He died in 1888 in the Bath and Wells lunatic asylum. If anyone can add detail to the lives of my ancestors I would be delighted to hear from them. Terry
