red mail Gully Gamily
Hi Can anyone help. My great great grandfather was John Gully born 1806 in South Petherton he was married to Ann Baker and they had 5 daughters, Mary, Alice, Sarah, Elizabeth and Julia who was my great grandmother. Julia was born in 1864 in Whitchurch Somerset. I believe she had 2 children by a Charles Burrows. The first Mary Ann (my grandmother ) was born in Banbury (Hook Norton) in 1884 on her birth certificate the father was Charles Burrows and his occupation was an Engine Driver. They then had a son Henry John who was born Fareham in 1887 again Charles Burrows was down as father and still an Engine Driver. The mother name was Julia Burrows ( formerly gully ) unfortunately I cannot trace any marriage between Charles and Julia, but it appears Julia married a John Morby in 1888 and her condition was as a spinster. Does anyone have any information on Charles Burrows or Julia Gully? Many thanks Lorraine
