Looking for Relatives/friends of Jack R Shepherd and Deborah Audrey K Shepherd. I am trying to trace the family of relatives who passed away in around 2000 and 2005 (and with whom contact was lost when older relatives died in the 70s and 80s), with a view to exchanging Family History information. Their details are as follows: Names : Deborah Audrey K Shepherd and Jack Raymond Shepherd. Deborah passed away when she was about 80 on 31 Oct 2000 in St Margaret's Somerset Hospice in Bishops Hull, near Taunton, at which time her husband was still living at The Bakeries, Sutton Road in Somerton. Jack sadly died in 2005. We're not sure where Audrey's daughter Judy (born in early 1940's) was at that time, or where she is now. I am having difficulty finding the birth or family of Hester Crane,who, according to various census entries, was born in Glastonbury and who married James Wright(widower,thatcher born 1813 Compton Dundon)December 25th 1844 in Somerton Parish Church Somerset.Her father is given as Benjamin Fone and at time of marriage she is living in Somerton.On the certificate, the name is spelt Creen, although Crane on my great-grandfather's birth certificate.Witnesses are George Merriott and Caroline Wright.James' first wife was also called Caroline.Hester died November 1891 in Somerton.Any information would be much appreciated.

Our George Weech went to Savannah, Geor,gia USA in the 1700's from Somerton, Somerset. His son's will was probated in the Bahamas after the revolution because they were loyalists. We are hoping to find our relatives in Somerset in this brach of Weech's. There was a George Weech who lived adjacent to the old church in the 1800's and who, I believe was a wheelwright. Frederick G.’s parents were Levi Cox b. 1836 of Somerton and Elizabeth M. of Limerick, Ireland b. 1836/37. Levi’s parents were William Cox b. 1796 in Somerton and Jane of Scotland b. abt 1796. John Lee and his wife Harriet (nee Long) were tailors in Somerton from about 1840. Children John Loveridge Lee, Norkett Lee, Hannah Lee, Albion Lee, Thomas Lee, Elizabeth Ann Lee. Albion married Anna Rowley and Thomas married Mary Ann James. Both Thomas and Albion living in Somerton late 19th century (Kirkham Street and Lower Somerton), numerous children. Harriet Lee remarried to Samuel Lampard of Somerton 1866. I don't know what became of John Loveridge Lee, Hannah, or Norkett. Would like to hear from anybody connected with any people called Lee from Somerton.

Tinney Any Somerset Information
We are after further details of the family of Alfred Thomas Tinney of Kingsdon who married Mary Anne Barnard of Keinton-Mandeville who married in Barton St David in 1857 and left for Australia later in the year. Alfred Thomas's father was William Tinney and William's father was Thomas Tinney. Prior to Thomas Tinney's marriage to Joan Hilborn in 1800 we cannot find any record of him at all.
