Surname of the Bride
JOHN TRIPP of Shipham, "developer and entrepreneur" born 1616 ; buried 1677 married a lady named Florence, but where and when? She is always called Florence of Oldands - but what was her surname - could it have been OLAND -is there such a name? She was baptised in 1618 and died in Limington Dorset in 1707, her will asked that she be taken back to Shipham and buried with her late husband - which was done. Has anyone any idea about HER family? If so I should be hugely grateful to hear from them if so.
