I am researching the Sims's in Radstock. In particular a Lily Sims DOB 30 12 1894 Father Henry Sims, Mother Harriet nee Box. I am trying to find a marriage for her.One source of info says she moved to London in the late 20s early 30s. I have found most records for all her family, but her spouse and marriage so far eludes me.

Does anyone know of any information regarding these houses please? they are, I believe just off the old Bristol?Bath road. My great grandfather and his family lived here during the mid 19th century. He was a quarryman so were they 'quarry houses' perhaps. His surname was Callow.

Charles and Emily Tucker, thay lived at The Beeches Wells Road Radstoch in the 1940s Interment took place of Charles on November 9 1947 at Radstock Church Yard ,his wife died January 20 the same year . They had 3 sons and 1 daughter. They all moved to Rotherham in Yorkshire. Has anyone any info on above I would be very greatful

Seeking information on Ernest Spurlock of Midsomer Norton who married Mary Bourne in Radstock in December 1956.Ernest was 45 year old widower and a painter by trade, whilst Mary was a widow, age unknown. I would be most grateful for any snippets of information.

Unable to find Mary Budgett born around 1881. I have her marriage certificate from 1901 when she married a ? box in Radstock. Certificate seems to have some errors on. Possibly married at St Nicholas. They had a daughter, but am unable to find when she was born. Not listed on census'Brother was George. Parents Tom and Ellen. May appear as Budget.

My greatgrandfather - Stanley Derrick - is listed on the 1901 Cenusus as having been born in Bath in 1856. I have found another entry for a Stanley Derrick in the 1891 census who was born in Radstock? I am trying to establish if they are one and the same person as the ages are correct? My great grandfather eventually married Isabella and they had seven children including my grandfather and were living in London in 1901. Any help/connections would really be appreciated. Many thanks

I have an old photo taken probably in the 1920s in Radstock of a large group of mothers & babies with a title of The Baby Show Labour Demonstration Radstock. Adopted, around 1924. Adopted father Charles Gregory born 1869 who was a teacher in Radstock.His first wife was Lilian Ward Gregory and they had a child in 1895 called clifford. Does anyone know the name of the orphange/poor house in Midsomer Norton, this is where i lived till adopted. I was born in 1918 i have no birth certificate,looking to find out what my name was before being "adopted" No adoption records exsist. The orphange/poor house may have a list of residents for that period
