I am looking for my grandmother's family, She was Elsie Boreham. Her mother was Mary Eliza Boreham, the daughter of Sarah Gregory and John Boreham of London. John's father was Joseph. My great grandmother Mary, had sisters named Sophia, Amelia and Kate. Brothers were Joseph, Charles and Sidney. The family later moved to Wales. Hurfords from Wales.are also my relatives. Elsie, my grandmother was adopted at birth as she was illegitimate and we do not know anything about Helen Boreham and Walter Murray, who adopted her.

I am trying to track down the whereabouts of my grandmother during 1902 to 1919. Her name was Nellie Jenkins also known as Eleanor Jenkins. Supposedly brought up by a grandmother in Portishead. Also believed to have worked in the area as domestic/servant or companion. She was the daughter of Emily Summerell who was the daughter of Henry Summerell and Mary Summerell (nee strange). If any one has any connections with the summerells or the strange family I would be very grateful for any information you may have.
Wyatt, Boyett
George Wyatt and his wife Mary Ann Boyett lived in Portishead in 1871 with Albert (5), Emily J.(3), Louisa(1). He was from North Weston, she from Thornbury, Gloucestershire. Would like to correspond with anyone connected with this family. Mary Ann is the sister of my great grandfather Oliver Boyett.
Thomas Ashford Williams (1821 - 1871) married Emily (maiden name unknown) (1819 - 1903) and had nine children - Emily, Thomas, Mary, Henry, John, William, James G., Charles and Elizabeth Ann. In March 1882 in Bedminster, Somerset (Avon), Elizabeth Ann Williams (1862 - 19??), married John Carl Johnson and lived in Weston-in-Gordano, Somerset (Avon). They had three children - Mary Winifred, Alec (killed WW1 at Mons) and Marguerite Ethel. Elizabeth Ann later remarried (William Harman in June, 1985) and had a son Edmund. I am looking for any information on the Hallidays who lived in portishead/portbury in the 1700's - 1900's - the descendants and ascendants of William Halliday who was born in Portbury about 1821. He married someone called Mary Ann and they had several children - Frederick, Emily, Alfred, Elizabeth and Arthur. I need to find out who Williams parents were and any other information at all would be much appreciated.

Looking for information on Ann J Tucker living with her aunt Elizabeth Bridle in the 1901 census, at that time she was age 5. I have since heard that Ann used the name Bridle for many years as she didnt know she was a Tucker, there is some association with the lighthouse in Portishead but I have no further info on this perhaps someone out there can help. Ann was known to my Mother as Ivy and later worked for a colonel at Cowden House in Cowden, Kent. Anyone have any info on any of this?
