Hollifield/Holifield/Wilkins in Paulton/Clutton
Samuel and Lavinia Holifield lived in Paulton in the early 1800s. In the 1851 census his wife shows as widowed so Samuel presumably died between 1842 and 1851 (possibly 1846?). Their son Eli worked as a miner in the local pits married Jane Wilkins (daughter of James and Charlotte) in the Clutton area and then moved to Wales when he was in his early 20s where they had 11 children. Does this connect with anyone?

Looking for the details of Ann ROSSITER, (b. about 1805), married George CUNDICT (b. 1796/7) at Walcot (Bath) on 7 January 1831. Their children were Susan (1832), Ruth (1836) and Stephen (1843). They were non-conformists, so will probably not appear in the parish baptismal registers.
My great grandfather, Peter Ludwell was born in Paulton, March 1862. His parents were Henry and Susan (nee Cundict). Peter married Annie Tuck of Corfe Castle. They had three children - Percy, Charlotte and Frederick. Any further information would be appreciated particularly Peter's date of death.
red mail Missing Family
My 2x greatgrandmother, Elizabeth LOWE presumably had a difficult labour with her first child Elizabeth POPKIN b. 1848, since her next pregnancy ended with the delivery and registration of her first son Edward b. 1849 in Clutton Somerset, the birth certificate only has the general address, Paulton. I think she must have gone back to family roots for help. I have been unable to find any LOWE(s) in the 1841/51 census for the Paulton area and unfortunately have not been able to find the maiden name of their mother Mary. All I know about the LOWE family is that they were non-conformists. Both Elizabeth LOWE and her older sister Mary Ann were christened in the Sion Chapel(Lady Huntingdons NC) - Union Street MEOT. Their father's name was William Daniel LOWE and he and Mary were married in London approx. 1815. Mary Ann was born in 1816 and Elizabeth in 1829 so there is very likely to have been other children that I have yet to find. I would like to find their relatives in Paulton, can anybody help please?
