red mail Day - Durbin - Windsor
Researching Samuel DAY (1787-1867) - hog butcher - who married Elizabeth DURBIN (1796-1823) in 1811. I don't know if I have the right children of this marriage - John (1815), Mary (1817), Ann (1819) and Rachel (1820). More children? I think after Elizabeth died, Samuel married Sarah WINDSOR and had Thomas (1824), Samuell (1826) and William (1831). Can anyone confirm this information? Show Samuel living at Church Lane, Nailsea, in 1841 and on King's Hill, Nailsea in 1851. Coming to Nailsea in Sept/17 and would appreciate any help re tracing family tree.
red mail Day - Badman
Researching John DAY (1759-1822) - a cordwainer - who married Sarah BADMAN (1760-1816) in Nailsea in 1785. I show their children to be Mary and William (twins - b. 1785), Samuel (b. 1787), John (1789-1797), James (b. 1793), Thomas (b. 1797) and John (b. 1801). Buried Holy Trinity Church. Any information re other children, etc.
red mail Day - Crew
Researching Thomas DAY (1797-1875 - Blacksmith) who married Sarah CREW (1794-1883) in 1815. I have managed to find 2 sons - Samual (also a blacksmith - born 1819) and Charles (B. 1822). In 1841 it shows their grandson, Thomas Day BRYANT, living with them. In 1851 it shows them living at FRIENDSHIP INN - and Thomas is listed as a Publican. I think the Bryant family had something to do with the Friendship Inn but need a connection from the Bryant family to the Day family. I would imagine I am missing a daughter - as well as perhaps other children. I show both Thomas and Sarah being buried at Holy Trinity Church. Is there a burial ground there. I am travelling to Nailsea in Sept/17 and would appreciate any information.
