red mail Dunstone alias Hartland
My mother's maiden name was Dunstone and the family came from Somerset. In the course of tracing her history there I realised that, many moons ago, the name was Hurtland of Langport - so a Hurtland male married a Dunstone female, the name then evolved into Dunstone alias Hartland until the use of alias became obsolete and my line of the family stayed with Dunstone. Most surprising and interesting to learn that the male line goes back to Hurtland of Langport (as far as I can ascertain) My Dunstones finished their Somerset days in South Petherton and then went to South Australia. I would love contact with anyone who can assist me with information on this family
