Brother was Joseph Coker, John R Coker faught in the Battle of San Jacinto, Trying to find out his GGGGGGG-Grandfather . I believe Caleb Coker may be my missing link, but i need help.

Hi, I am looking for information on maps of east coker for the time of 1870's. I have found some maps, but they do not show up all road, lane, street names. I am looking particularly for Burton Road and from what I can make out from the census record, either West Coker Street or North Coker Street. These address' are where Police Constable Nathaniel Cox lived in 1871 and the Burton Road address is where his widow lived in 1881. Can anyone help with this information. Thanks Clive.

I am looking for a Richard Granger (Cox) born c1780 and died 1840. He had a daughter Jane born in 1831 who later married a John Hackwell. Jane Granger had 3 children Isaac Granger, Charles Granger and Emily Granger. Isaac Granger married Emily Stevens.

I am looking for information re Samuel Douch, I know nothing at all about this person except that he was named as the father of Walter Harrison (born in East Coker in 1830 to Theresa Harrison)and that he was working as a gardener, this information I have got from a "bastardy bond" sworn out against him. Sadly Theresa died within 12 months of Walter being born and in 1841, he can be found in the Yeovil workhouse. I have alot of information about Walter Harrison but any information received about Samuel Douch would be much appreciated. Christine
