red mail HALCOMBE Margaret (nee Birch) 1802-1869
Margaret (Birch) halcombe died in Churchill, Somerset 24 February 1869 aged 66 widow of John Halcombe (Barrister) who had died in 1852 in New Radnor. I have been unable to trace this woman's location from 1852 until her death in Churchill. Is there a record of her burial in Churchill or does anyone know how I may discern what she might have been doing in this location? I have been unable to locate her on the 1861 UK census. Thanks Ana

Lewis of Churchill
There is an M.I. in the parish church in Churchill - it concerns Samuel Somner Tripp of Balliol College Oxford and Upper Langford died 1809 and his wife Jane Lewis who died 1793 whose family had been parishioners of the church for at least 200 years. I cannot find where these two were married there seem to be no records of the event in Somerset - has anyone reading this any ideas of where I could look next ? Or indeed, any information about either the Tripp or Lewis families ? Any info. much appreciated
