red mail Moon Family in Chilcompton
I am searching for the Moon family from Chilcompton. George Moon was born there in 1795. He married Hannah Cox (1806) in 1825, and their family eventually moved to Timsbury. His children's names were: Mary (1827); Edward (1829); George(1831); James(1833); Isaac(1837); Hannah(1839); Francis(1840); Phoebe(1843); John(1846) and Charlotte (1854). I couldn't find any parish information on them, except Hannah's baptism. Also, any idea where the name 'Moon' came from?
red mail Sarah Dallimore and John Sperring Parker.
These were my great grandparents. They married in London 1857 and went to live in Chilcompton, where they raised 7 children. My grandmother, Mary Sperring, married Richard Gwilliam, a school master from Shropshire. Is anyone in Chilcompton related to this family or has them in their family tree? If you do ,please get in touch. Ann.
