Have information on these families from Cheddar but have gaps. Looking to reunite the genes with an Irish connection
Hi, I am researching my Banwell-Hudson links to Cheddar. My 2 GGmother was Mary Ann Hudson, born in Cheddar. Listed with family, father Henry Hudson and mother Elizabeth nee Banwell in 1852 Census. By 1859, Mary Ann was in Brisbane Australia, married Thomas Henry Jones, 1859. The Elizabeth Banwell doesn't seem to be the Banwells of Keystowe. Any cousins still there? Mary Ann had 2 brothers. The parents were still in Cheddar in the 1860s. I can send you a family tree of Mary Ann in Australia. My daughter and I would love to find out more. Regards Rosie
