I am researching the Samuel Francis family of Castle Cary. Samuel married Mary Mandifield also spelt Mandyfield or Mandefield on 3 December 1775 at Ansfield Somerset. Edith was probably the daughter of Ambrose and Edith Mandefield. Samuel and Mary had at least five children, James, Elizabeth, George, Susannah and William. Any information appreciated.

He was married to Elizabeth born abt 1844 in Castle Cary. They had 4 children Elizabeth born abt 1867 in Castle Cary, James born abt 1869 in Castle Cary, Thomas born about 1873 in Castle Cary (my great great grandfather) and Rosina born about 1876 in Castle Cary.
