The 1841 census list three Rees brothers John 16, Joseph 12 and Philip 14 residing at the Tea Garden, Lower Knowle in the parish of Lower Bedminster, Somerset. The head of the house appears to be a Thomas Ball. The other occupants being Thomas's wife Mary their two infant children and two other "tenants". I am curious regarding the Fury family who lived in 6 East Street in Bedminster in 1851. They were Edward born Bristol 1791, Hannah born Somerset 1790 and Sons Edward (17) and George (15). They have a servant girl in their household called Lucy Bland (14). They again turn up in the 1871 Census in Wales but are now living in tents. They had a number of children, I know the fates of three so far - Eliza A, married Ernest Oldfield and was still in Bristol in 1932 when her mother died, Lawson Edward, moved to Trealaw and died there in 1930, and young Thomas, put in an Industrial School in Bristol and sent to Canada in 1895 (this message is on behalf of his granddaughter who resides in Canada). Other children of Thomas and Love might be: an Annie or Lilly b. 1876, William 1885, Samuel 1888, Flo(w) 1891, Willie 1895, Maud 1898.

Looking for any info on Milsoms in Bedminster/Bishopsworth in particular John Milsom (married Jane Rich 3 Mar 1835 and their children Elizabeth (1835), Eliza (1837), John (1837), Sarah (1839) and Harriet (1842). In June 1862, Elizabeth Ann was born to Thomas Ashford Williams (1821 - 1871) and Emily (maiden name unknown) (1819 - 1903). She had eight siblings - Emily, Thomas, Mary, Henry, John, William, James G. and Charles. In March 1882 in Bedminster, Somerset (Avon), she married John Carl Johnson and lived in Weston-in-Gordano, Somerset (Avon). They had three children - Mary Winifred, Alec (killed WW1 at Mons) and Marguerite Ethel. Elizabeth Ann later remarried (William Harman in June, 1985) and had a son Edmund.
