red mail Shropshire, Shrewsbury
Hi!! I am looking for information regarding the family of George Isaac GITTINS, Sr., living in this village and town c. 1860. His wife was named Charlotte Green Gittins, and they emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1864, along with their children George, Thomas, Charlotte (my great-grandmother), Rose, and John. Apparently another child, whom I believe is named Sarah or Sally, was accidentally left behind when they left for America, and she was raised by her aunt and uncle. I am desperately looking for information about them before 1864. Thanks so much. Debbie Miller Holth
