Does anybody have a TAMAR GREEN in their family tree? She married THOMAS DUCKETT in 1795 In Shropshire Is so I would love to hear from them
George VIGGORS and Sarah PARTRIDGE are my 3x great grandparents, they were married in Holdgate, Bouldon, Shropshire on 12.04.1762. They had ten children, Mary (1763), George (1768), Sarah (1771), John (1773-1775), Henry (1775), Martha (1777), Thomas (1767), William, Richard and Sylvanus. At some stage George and Sarah moved to South Wales. When George died he was buried on 21.12.1807 at St Marys Church, Chapel Hill, Tintern Abbey, Monmouthshire. Sarah was also buried there on 06.01.1828 aged 90 years. Henry (my 2x great grandfather) also moved to Wales but he settled in Neath Glamorgan and worked at the Iron Foundry his brothers Thomas, Richard, Sylvanus and possibly William settled in Monmouthshire. Thomas (1767-1854) and Richard are also buried at St Marys Church, Chapel Hill Tintern Abbey. If you are connected to this family tree please get in touch. Thank you.

red mail John henry Esp
I am trying to find out about my grandfather John Henry Esp who was born in Shropshire. He did not know who his biological parents were and never had a birth certificate. He was born around 1903. As a baby, he was taken in by George and Fanny Head who lived in Claverley. The only posession on him was a bible with the name John Henry Esp written inside. George was a gamekeeper until at least 1911. My grandfather's name in the 1911 Census form lists John Henry as a visitor at their home located in South Stoke, Easton, Lincolnshire. The only birth record located on Ancestry and the free BMD website is for a John Henry Esp born on March 1902 in Kingswinfold, staffs. Parents were Richard and Jane Elizabeth Esp. This John Esp shows up on the last 1911 Census. This was a farming family and John Henry was the youngest child. It is likely not a match and does not explain why both of them show up on the 1911 Census in different locations. I was told parish records were destroyed in a fire and that my grandfather may have been an illegitamate child. He said people in the village kept pointing him out saying, 'that's him, he's the one.' It's a real mystery. I wonder where George worked as a game keeper. Rumours also went round stating the lady who lived there may have had an affair with one of her employers and asked George and Fanny to stay silent and bring the baby up. Were there any Esps that worked at the same place as George. I would love to get to the bottom of this.

red mail Ruscoe/Mitchell family
Hi, I have some knowledge of my grandmother, Edith Mary Ruscoe, born in York 1895. She had two sisters, Dora and Muriel and an older brother Frank Mitchell Ruscoe. I do not know what happened to any of her siblings. I know Frank was in WWI but that is all I know. Edith married Clifford Poyner Ball and lived in Dawley for her married life when she had two children, Dennison Ball and Muriel Ball. Edith Mary Ruscoe's parents were Hannah Mitchell and John Ruscoe. John Ruscoe was one of nine children that I know of, George, William, Mary Jane, Joseph, Sarah, Elizabeth Ann, Enoch, and Fanny. They were all born in the 1860's, 1870s. My great grandfather John, became a baker and lived until almost 100. His parents were William Ruscoe and I think Mary Phillips. My great grandmother Hannah Mitchell had two sisters, Ellen and Jane. Her parents were David Mitchell and Ann Bainbridge Johnson. Ann was born in Stanton. Hannah was five when her father passed away and her mom remarried William Dennison. This is who my uncle and finally my son is named after. If there is anyone who knows of anyone in the family, it would be greatly appreciated to hear from you. My sister and I are the only ones left in our line and we now live in Canada. Thank you so much.

Joseph Jarrett (b.1829) married Sarah (b.1827) and had children Francis (b.1856), Sarah (b.1858), Mary (b.1860), and John (b.1869). A grandchild Walter was born in 1880, but I don't know to whom. John married Martha (b.1867) and their children included William Earnest (b.1894), my grandfather. They appear variously on the English or Welsh censuses, and are sometimes recorded as Jarratt. The given residence varies between Perrys, Stockton Wood and High Gate. red mail Alfred Edward THOMAS
Am searching for any info about Alfred Edward (Fred/Freddie) Thomas. Now know that he was born in 1899, the youngest of six siblings (Stanley, Florence, Silvester, Jessie & William). He married and later divorced Sarah (Ciss) Margaret Smith Ford. They had a daughter, Jean Valerie Thomas, born 1 Dec 1931, who is my mum. Alfred's father was a headmaster and they lived at the school house in Cardiston (?) parish of Salop in 1901. Stanley, William and Alfred followed in his footsteps. Stanley became a headmaster in Lincolnshire, William in Lyme Regis, Dorset, and Alfred taught at one time at Llanfair Waterdine. They were employed at schools known at that time as Headmaster Conference Schools. Mum never knew her father and as time is moving on I would love to be able to provide her with some missing parts to her life. She believes Alfred got into some sort of strife and was sent to prison. Any info at all would be much appreciated.
