Am looking for info, on Thomas Davies born1808, Ifton, St Martin's. His father was Richard Davies, a shoemaker. There is an 1841 census record of a Richard Davies, shoemaker, living with his daughter, Esther, in Ifton Rhynn, Oswestry but I can't tie him in with my Thomas. Can anyone help, please?

My GG grandfather Thomas Phillips wwas born in about 1836 in St Martins and married Jane Parry in the parich church there in 1856. My G grandmother Elizabeth Phillips was born in the Gledrig St Martins, married Samuel Jones in Pont Fadog Church in 1881 and had my grandmother Suzannah Jones in 1884 again in Gledrig St Martins. I'm looking for any ancestors of the Hughes family living in St Martins in 1851 census. Their mother Jane Hughes was born in Dudleston or Ellesmere and possibly her maiden name/ previous married name is Jane Francis. From info I've found I think their father (dead by 1851) was John Hughes. Does anyone know where he was born? John and Jane had several children born in St Martins: Arthur b. about 1816 Mary b. about 1820 Martha b. about 1822 Jane b. about 1825 John b. about 1830 Sarah b. about 1832 Edward b. about 1835 Has anyone got any info on what happened to them?
