Hi. I'm looking for any info on Thomas & Hannah Jenkins,nee Wallet, both born around 1795/1800. Thomas was a collier. Their address in 1841 census was "near the timberyard" at Snedshill. Doesn't sound too good!

I am trying to find information about the ancestors of Beriah Wallett, bapt.16 May 1847, Oakengates, Shropshire, father John, mother Margaret, formerly Jones. They were possibly married at Holywell, Flintshire, 1846. Beriah had sisters Philomena, Matilda, Ada and Honour and a brother Thomas. Beriah married Elizabeth Clayton at Biddulph, Staffordshire, 1870, (7 children) and a second marriage was to Susannah ? about 1880 (9 children).

both brothers were born in oakengates. their father was john gardner (hair draper - not sure what this was). the family moved to birmingham where both brothers married. william married jane cross in harborne and moved to the aston area. he was a gold chain maker in 1845 but later became a wholesale fishmonger in birmingham market.
