I am trying to sort out my Dolphin and Penny families, in the mid to late 1700s and early 1800s. I have an Elizabeth Penny marrying a John Dolphin c 1815. I descend from their daughter Elizabeth Penny Dolphin. I believe Johns father is a Joseph who married a Jane Crowther. She died in 1845. She seemed to be a widow in 1841. Regards beth

There was a papermill in Hopton Wafers in the 18th century and I am interested in the names of people who worked there. I suspect that my 4xggf Charles Blount worked there and am looking for evidence. Although he was married at Claverley he was a papermaker and had his first child christened at St. Michael Hopton Wafers 4th December 1737. Any bit of information about this papermill would be welcome.
