I am searching for more information on the family history of William PRICE born 1886 and married Mary Ann DOVEY on 13 Sept 1911 at Bridgnorth Register Office.They lived in Hopstone after they were married.Mary Ann commonly called Polly.They had three children called Hilda May,Wilfred(Wilf) and Wilfreda(Freda).Williams Father was called Henry but I can find no more info on him so far.

My 3 x Gt grandfather Thomas SHELLEY b. 1813 and his wife, Bessie (b. 1814 and died 1881) are buried in Claverley churchyard. They lived in Sutton Mill for a time (1871 and 1881 census). Their daughter Emma SHELLEY had my great grandfather George in 1870 and went on to marry George WENLOCK, a widower, in 1876 though young George did not join the family but stayed living with his grandparents.

I am looking for Bertram Norton and Dora (Dolly) Norton who lived at Sandford Hall in the 1930's. I believe they had no children and divorced Dolly moved to a house in claverley or near to as you could see the towers of the hall in the distance. Her house was in the grounds of a farm and the main Lounge was upstairs and had a large balcony.

Looking for information on Thomas Grant (labourer) born Shropshire (possibly Claverley but no reference here in Shropshire Archives) abt 1767 died Aston, Claverley 1827. I believe he first married Mary Price on 24th July 1791 in Claverley & then after her death married my 4xGM Mary Pearce/Pierce on 26th January 1810 in Worfield. I have information on Mary's family but nothing on Thomas. Also interested in where Thomas was buried on 15th July 1827 & also Mary (bap 21st September 1776 to 1st February 1853) following their deaths in Aston, Claverley - searched the remaining gravestones at Claverley & Worfield to no avail. I'm looking for any details of James STEPHENS (Coal Miner on the 1861 census) born c1818 in either Wombourne or Claverley and married an Elizabeth (born in Worfield c1820) c1838 possibly in Ludlow or Worfield. They had a son Charles who was born c1839/40 as on the 1851 census for Wolverhampton Staffs, they were living in St James Street. Along with James and Elizabeth were Charles (11), John (my 3xgrt grandfather aged 2) and George Binningsley (nephew aged 5). On the 1861 census, Charles has either left home or was not there that night. James and Elizabeth also had a daugher Sarah A (Ann?) in 1856 in Wolverhampton. Were there any other children born to them between Charles and John? If anyone has any information on James or the Elizabeth he married, I would greatly appreciate it. I could then help you with the rest of the family related to him.

Parents Joseph ALPORT & Eleanor NAIL. (2) x: 15 Jan 1761 Lichfield STS. (3) x: 1 Feb 1761 Codsall STS. Parents John ALLPORT & Mary. I am looking for secondary evidence to identify which of these three is the right one.
