William Bateman born abt 1816, Thame married Elizabeth Bickerstaff in 1842, and they had a family, Rebecca 1843, another Rebecca 1844, Therza 1846, James William Beckerstaff 1849,William 1851, Alfred 1854, Henry 1857,Ada Dorcas 1859, another William 1861. the first Rebecca died as a baby, the first William as a small child, but the other children lived to marry, I am looking for their descendants anyone have any info?

If anyone has access to parish registers of Thame, please could they look up the birth of MARTHA NORMAN, born about 1843, mother ELIZABETH NORMAN. Her father could possibly be JOHN DANIELS but it doesn't look as though her birth was registered under DANIELS so she is probably illegitimate. Would love to know what parish record shows as her father?!

I lived there until I married in 1945. At that point I was called up for military service and didn't return to live in Thame. My wife came from Barking in Essex and we lived there until moving out to Hornchurch also in Essex. From there we migratedto Australia in 1964 and now live in Melbourne.
