William moved with them and later married a Yorkshire lady Mary Wharrich and raised a family in Kirbymisperton. Elkington Family - Born And Bred Here
Thomas Elkington b 08/24/1779 in Great Bourton, Oxfordshire married 04/24/1779 Hannah/Johanna Neal(b 02/08/1793.) Son - Cornelius b Great Bourton 05/27/1821. Cornelius is supposed to have married the "downstairs" maid, Ann Eliz Claridge b 05/29/1842. They were married 05/26/1854. Do the math - she was only 12! No wonder his family wasn't impressed! The couple later moved to Michigan, US. I'm trying to find siblings of either one plus more info on the parents of Ann Eliz Claridge.
