Looking for information on WILLIAM WESTBURY(b.1815) who married ANN STAYT(b.1816). Their children were: JOHN(b.1841 married ANN?), RICHARD(b.1842), THOMAS(b.1844 married LYDIA WALSH at Kidlington in 1867), JAMES(b.1845 married LOUISA?), and FANNY(b.1850 married THOMAS HOWSE in 1867 at Shipton on Cherwell). Not sure who Ann Stayt's parents were but possibly THOMAS and FANNY? William Westbury's parents were RICHARD WESTBURY and SOPHIA LAY who married at North Hinksey in 1798.Their other children were: SUSANNAH(b.1800), JOHN(b.1802), MARY(b.1804), RICHARD(b.1808), ANN(b.1813), JAMES(b.1813?) and ELIZA(b.1818). Richard senior was born c.1775 in Charlbury. Sophia Lay was born 1778 in North Hinksey,the daughter of JOHN LAY and MARY LOVE???

In 1887 John was a warehouseman and by 1911 he was dead) In the 1881 census John and Caroline had 6 children including my Great grandfather Benjamin Eeles (b 15/4/69 Charlbury) he married Eliza Crowhurst Seeley at whitechapel in Dec 1887 and they had 5 children including my Grandmother Florence Eeles 9b12.8.91 Spitalfields, d 15.02.1960 bournemouth) Florence married my grandfather Thomas Henry Childs in Hackney in Dec 1921. After Eliza Crowhurst Seeley died in 1910 Ben Eeles remarried in Dalston London on 01/07/1911 to Emma Louisa Brown a widower(b1866) Emma's father was James Peter Collins (deceased in 1911)

Eden family extensive through Charlbury area and don't know if Gumm family was also.
