Son, Michael Ryan b. 26 Dec. 1812 and emigrated to New Orleans, Louisiana, United States in 1839. Family had members who became noted divines, and were men of marked ability and long lived. Michael Ryan had a fine classical education in Ireland and knew Greek and Latin. He quickly became a lawyer in America. Records destroyed during this period for ready searches. Any hint is welcome.

I am looking for ancestors or descendants of Michael Carroll born about 1791 and married to Nancy ? born about 1786. They had two sons - William born about 1831 and Michael born about 1835. The moved to England and in 1851 lived at Frederick Street, Bradford, Yorkshire. A nephew William Kenally was living with them at this time. Looking for information to sort This puzzle of my great great grandfather He was born Thomas Skerritt abt.1826 in Killeride Tullamore. Thomas came to New Zealand as a fencible of the 50 Reg. on the ship Oriental Queen arriving Auckland N.Z. September 1849. Thomas changed his surname to Scarrott On his death certificate that I have surname is Scarrott with His Father's name Isaac Scarrott. When I found Thomas's grave in Auckland His name is back to Thomas Skerrett. Thomas married Honora Shanahan when He arrived in N.Z. Would appreciate any information on Thomas Skerrit/ Scarrott/Skerrett or Isaac Scarrott my ggg grandfather.

I am looking for any information on Michael Seary married to Catharin Conroy (Catherine), I know thay had at least Two children Ann born circa 1862 and Jane Bap 15/3/1864 in Tullamore Offlay. They came to England and are on the 1881 census living in Liverpool Street, Eccleston (as it was known it those days)St.Helens, Lancashire. Michael Mooney also came from Ireland, we believe around the same area as the Seary family, Michael married Jane Seary in England.
