Mu direct ancestor is Elizabeth Bingham, born 1790. According to the census, she was born in Teversal, Notts. She married John Goodall in 1814, and bore 9 children that I know of. She lived in Mansfield Woodhouse on the 1841 and 1851 census', and her children were all born there. Does anyone else have an interest in this lady's ancstry?

They later moved to Selby, Yorkshire and after that to Rotherham, Yorkshire. James was killed in an accident at work when a railway engine ran over his leg.

Mary Ann had her daughter Nellie Woodward in 1898 out of wedlock the address given on Nellies birth cert is 11 Thorneywood Lane.... Mary Anns occupation was a domestic servant. If anyone can tell me the census info for 11 Thorneywood lane, Nottingham 1891 that would be great. I have looked but i can not find the info for nu 11, Thankyou

My mother, Dorothy King (Latimore) was born 1897 in Ketton but was brought up with her sister Kathleen (1895) at Trowell Rectory Garden Cottage where her father Frank Latimore (1865 Ketton)was Gardener. They stayed there until about 1910 when they moved into Ilkeston and Frank became a salesman for Pearl Insurance. In about 1920 they moved to Heanor Road, Ilkeston where their descendants still live. Has anyone any information about Trowell rectory, the Garden Cottage - old photos etc.

Can anyone verify this during the 1890 to 1915 Period? It is important to verify as parentage of Harold and Percy is in question (see below). Emma lived with her father at Church End in Walkeringham with her son Harold Fenton (born 1891) and Hannah left for London - her son Percy Fenton (born 1888) abandoned to Benjamin's care. Both Harold and Percy have taken their mother's surname in abscence of any father?

My ancestors Sarah Fox (b 1798 Wellow) married Joseph Cutts (b 1793 Wellow). They married in Wellow 1814, My research up to this point is fine. It's the next generation that's causing the problems. Many online trees have Sarah's father as Francis Fox b c1750 in Devon - who apparently died in USA and whose family were linked with George Fox the Quaker. I'd love to make this link, but wonder if it's wishful thinking. I can't find any later connection either to Plymouth or the States, and suspect sadly that my Sarah's family have no connection with the Quaker Foxes. Can anyone help Please. Thank you.

Most likely worked on the land at a local farm, he was an experienced ploughman. He met his wife Fanny Lacey from Keyworth and they were married towards the end of the first world war or maybe afterwards. He was badly burned on HMS Malaya at the battle of Jutland, but survived.

Ellen died in childbirth in 1885. They were then living in Birmingham. John remarried in 1887 in Vicar Lane Chapel in Coventry - Annie Eliza Burbury from Crewe farm, near Kenilworth - and they mostly lived in Stoneleigh in Warwickshire. Anyone else with this family? Liz

Does anyone in Wysall remember my great aunt Dorothy Mercer Disney( who I unfortunately never met), she was born in Wysall in Dec 1899 in Wysall (I have been unable to find her birth) and she died in 1981 aged 82. She lived at Willow Cottage, Wymeswold Road, Wysall and was a music teacher. She may have lived in the 1940s with her aunt Emily Johnson who died in a house on Main Street, Wysall, in 1946 aged 90 years. Any help would be appreciated.
