Harriett died on the 13th March 1895 at the Union Workhouse, Mansfield. Her death certificate shows her as aged, 74 being a charwoman of Sutton in Ashfield. I am trying to determine if she is my ancestor. I cannot yet find her on the 1891 census. Can anyone provide any further information about Harriett. Nottinghamshire Council have no records for the Workhouse. Terry

He married my greatgran Adeline Smedley, who was from South Normanton. I have lots of info on her, but nothing on Samuel. Can anyone help? In 1861 Census my ggggrandfather Christopher Aked b.1806/7 was found to be a Stocking Framework Knitter. He was 54 at the time unfortunately a widower. The children living with him were William 26, Ann 14, George 10, Sarah 8, Eliza 5. His daughter Harriet b 1831 was married to my gggrandfather John Riley at that time.
