Holland family
Searching for my 2nd great-grandfather James Allcock Holland b.1834 Nottingham (parents Samuel Holland & Sarah Allcock m.1835 St Mary's Nottingham) in 1857 married Betsy Barradell b.1836 Nottingham (parents William Barradell & Hannah Holland m.1829 Nottingham) at St. Mary's, Nottingham. They had five children (Betsy, Hannah, James, Sarah and William) who all had the middle name of Allcock. By the time the children were born the family had moved from Nottingham to Birkenhead and were involved in watch and clock making. Parents of Samuel Holland were Joseph Holland and Esther Barnes m.1800 St Mary's Nottingham.
Looking for details of Barradell family from Nottingham but known to be in Market Place, Nuneaton at time of 1851 census. Parents William & Hannah(nee Holland) and children William, Hannah, Betsy and Mary A. In 1857 Betsy Barradell married James Allcock Holland in Nottingham and eventually moved to Birkenhead.
