Thomas Robson - (Whalton - Northumberland)
Thomas Robson was born in May 1805 and Christened in June 1806 in Whalton, Northumberland. In formation shows his parents as William Robson and Mary Wilkinson, and various family trees show his grandparents as John Robson and Hannah Dryden, born and married in Bywell. There is a problem that whilst john and Hannah did have a son William, b.1762, this does not seem to be the William who married Mary Wilkinson, and therefore is unlikely to be the father of Thomas. Can anyone please confirm Thomas Robson's parents....dates of birth, marriage etc., I realise that there are a lot of Robsons out there, but equally I am sure someone connected to the family has the necessary details to clarify the issue, and I hope may be able the help. Thanks, Brian
