red mail Robert Handyside b 1817
My 3G Grandfather's baptism and his parents are proving impossible to find! He appears in the 1841 census in Beadnell and in the 1851 census he is shown as having been born in Woodhorn, Northumberland. He married Jane Hall at Lamberton Toll in the early 1840s and stayed up in the Bamburgh/Beadnell area. I'm guessing the family was non-conformist as parish records are giving no clues. Has anyone any idea where I can go from here to try and find them?
