I am looking for relatives or decendants of John Edward Johnson and Catherine Johnson nee young, my grandparents, they lived in Whitley Bay before most of the family migrated to Western Australia in 1912, One brother, George Henry who Married Ethel B. Ayre remained in Whitley Bay, and a sister Eleanor Sheriffs, nee Johnson migrated to W Australia in 1920 with her family. George and Ethel had a son George E.W.N. G'day I'm looking for any information on my ancestors, who come from Whitely Bay, Northumberland. Thomas Charlton, born about 1791 and died between 1861 - 1871, was a blacksmith and married a woman named Isabel born about 1789 and died between 1851 - 1861. Thomas was a blacksmith and they had a son Thomas born about 1826. He married Margaret (unknown surname) and they had 8 children (Isabella, Thomas, William John, edward, Robert, Richard, Alexander and Mary). My Great Grandfather was one of Williams children (he married Mary Ann Dalton, they had 4 boys and one girl). I am trying to expand some more branches of my tree and would greatly appreciate any information anyone can offer on the family.
