red mail Patrick Gibbons
Looking for info about Patrick Gibbons, who married Margaret Coulson in 1903 in the Tynemouth registration district. He was a (Co-operative) Cartman, apparently, and probably died in 1909 - his wife had a son at Border Rd, Wallsend late in that year and the father is marked as deceased on the birth certificate. I'm wondering if he is of Irish parentage, I can't seem to spot him in the area (anywhere in Durham/Northumberland) on the 1901 or 1881 census, and I have noticed many Gibbons (particularly Patrick Gibbons) elsewhere were originally from Ireland. Margaret Coulson was born in 1876 I believe, so I'm guessing at a comparable year of birth for Patrick. Can anyone shed any light on Patrick's family or origins? Margaret Coulson married a Thomas Harris some time after Patrick's death.
