I have found christenings of TWEEDYs in Embleton dating from 1779 - 1792. Father: Jacob Tweedy, mother: Ann. I don't know how I can find out if the son Joseph (christened 1779) is the Joseph that I am related to who married ANN CARR (in Longbenton in 1794).
