red mail Benson
I am looking for any information about my late Father, Brian Benson. He was born in 1933 in Bedlington and his mother was called Sarah and Father was Harold. He had 3 brothers, Gordon, Harold and ? and a sister called Wendy. The other thing I am curious about is that his birth certificate says he was born at Bedlington YMCA Colliery??? Does anyone know if that was the local nursing home, if the building is still there and what it is used for now?

The closest marriage I've found was 20 years before George's birth - William Mills and Eleanor Barnes in 1804 at St Cuthberts.
