We live in a barn conversion in Hill Farm Yard Sulgrave. Locally it is known as Golebey's yard and our house was originally his barn. I'd love to see a picture of the barn before conversion and to know more about the Golebey family

I am researching the name of my grandfather, richard lax maynard, who went to an agricultural college in or near Sulgrave. He was taught how to train and use hunters at this place, between 1891 and 1906.

I'm at a full stop with my research. My great grandfather x2 was George Craddock born c1792 in Sulgrave. I have had no luck trying to work out his parents names or whether or not he had siblings. At present I am guessing on parents been Richard Craddock and Sussana Checkley married in 1790. does anyone have site of any old PR for Sulgrave. I fear that they may not be recorded as they were RC and I know that George married a Mary Gramshaw as its in the Overthorpe PR. which was the Catholic Chapel. Any one any suggestions.

Evacuees in the Second World War
My father-in-law Brian Charles FRANKLIN stayed at Park Lane, Sulgrave during the Second World War and went to school there with his brother who may have been called Lancelot. Brian won 1st prize for essay writing and was presented with a book called'Fifty Miles Round Sulgrave' on August 7th 1941. prize by the Vicar of Sulgrave who also wrote the book. Does anyone know the names of the people Brian stayed with, the name of Brian's brother and any other information about them. Any information gratefully received
