Looking for info on William SMITH who married Sarah Ruth DARNELL in Sharnbrook about 1860 but they lived in Rushden where they had 2 children. Sarah/Ruth moved back to Sharnbrook to live with her father along with the three children but had a further child in 1869 (Elizabeth SMITH) who was brought up by Sarah Ruth's sister in Northampton. Haven't confirmed William's death yet but if he died it was likely to be about 1863/4. Also trying to find out more about the circumstances surrounding the birth of Elizabeth SMITH, born 1869.

On the cenus from 1861, she was living with her son-in-law named Thomas Lamb in Higham Ferrers, her husband may be deceased, his name could of been Samuel Parker (atb 1793??). My Granmother was Dorathy Sophia Felce (nee Ball) who was born on 01 April 1910 and lived at 111 Irthlingborough Road until she died in 1991. Dorathy married a Horace Harry Felce (Bedfordshire) and had the following children: Frank Felce; Hilda May Felce; Marion Felce; Mavis Daphne Felce and Patricia Elizabeth Ball. My mother is Mavis who married a Barry Charles Smith from Finedon in 1959 and set up home in Cromer Road Finedon.

Children were Ronald Frank (my father in law died 1995 Hastings, New Zealand) Harold Dennis born 1905, Eva born 1906 Kenneth born 1907 (six weeks after his father's death). No known contact with Dennis, Eva and Kenneth, nor with Marcia their mother. Desperately seeking help in locating what happened to the rest of Ronald Frank's family after his father died. Ronald Frank brought up by Elizabeth T Whitworth at Guildown House, Guildford, Surrey, until coming to New Zealand in 1920s. Diane Whitworth, Havelock North, New Zealand.
