George was born in 1854 in Moulton, son of Thomas and Ann. He married Sarah Fawcett in 1880 and they had five children. I can find no mention of them after 1901. They lived with their children in Ryton, Greenside, Co Durham. Has anyone any further information about them please.

I have all three surnames in my history and are seeking information on these families. My grandparents were Oliver Buswell and Ellen(Nellie) Pickford who immigrated to Saskatchewan Canada. They were married in approx 1921 in Canada Oliver and Nellie were first cousins through their mothers Maria and Frances Smith(married Tom Pickford in 1887)in Moulton. The Smith sisters were the daughters of Elijah Smith and Elizabeth Cumberpatch. Tom Pickford(born approx 1867)was the son of Robert(born 1830)in Moulton and Sarah Ann possibly Cumberpatch(born approx 1840) in Moulton Robert was the son of William Pickford and Elizabeth Robinson. He was born in 1797 and they were married 24 June 1822. I am interested in any information on any of these people.

Sarah Page was b in 1773 in Moulton, Northamptonshire. She married William Smart in Moulton in 1799. Their son William James was b 1805 in Moulton and m Sarah Willson (b 1810 in Long Buckby). William and Sarah Smart emigrated to NZ in 1850 on one of the 'first four ships' that founded Christchurch. We have extensive info on the NZ descendants but nothing about the Page and Smart families before the info here (except that Sarah Page's dad was William, her mum Ann, and dad was buried in Moulton in 1823).

John Cole was born September 8, 1605 in Moulton as per our records. his son Samuel Cole was born January 23, 1646 in Kettering. We believe Johns father was Thomas Cole born abt 1575 in Northampton area. If anyone can be of some help in locating this family, please contact me. Thanks

My 3xgreatgrandparents were William Allgood & Elizabeth Watts, they married in Moulton in 1819 and had 13 children. William was a butcher by trade but he was innkeeper at the Artichoke public house from 1820's until the 1850's. Has anyone any more info on this family, i descend fom their 12th child "James" who moved to Teesside in the 1850's

William Bates married Matilda Day, from Moulton in 1852. after she died he married her sister, Adelaide in 1872. I know nothing of the Day family, but have researched quite a bit on the Bates. If you are interested in these families, or are related to the Days; I would love to hear from you.
