red mail Maydwell of Cottingham, NTH
Hi My husb 2nd g-grandmother Elizabeth MAIDWELL/MAYDWELL appears to have been born in Cottingham c1812-13. She married William MALIN(S) at All Saints Northampton in 1838, rather pregnant I think. Her father was William, believed to be a mason (occ fr marr unreadable). Their 2 elder children, Charlotte & Charles MALIN, are stated in census to have been born in Cottingham, and they were baptised there in 1838 & 1840, however by 1841 the family was at High st, Kettering, where Thomas their 3rd child was born. They were then found from 1843 in Milverton WAR. Does anyone else know of William MAYDWELL, of Cottingham, poss marr to Mary PLUMB. Nicki

Does anyone have information on Frances' parents? Thomas' father, John Eagle, married firstly Mary Ingram on 10 November 1717 and then secondly Sarah Perkins on 12 September 1733 both in Cottingham.
