It lists his birth as Apr. 5, 1773 Norfolk County, England and that he came to the USA at the age of 16. He died Feb. 22 1840 in Kentucky, at the home of his remaining child, Col. James Fisk. Other research says that the wife of the Henry born in England was Martha Wiley, and that his father was John Fisk who died abt. 1826. I have located baptism records for a Henry Fisk (04 Apr 1773) in Topcroft,Norfolk son of John and Elizabeth Fisk and a possible sibling John Fisk baptised (21 Oct 1771). Does anyone have any further information on the parents John and Elizabeth Fisk and their family. I am trying to establish a link between my family and this family in the USA I have DNA matches in the USA with 2 different descendants of a Wiley Benniington Fisk (1817-1896) a son of the above Henry Fisk and Martha Wiley. My third great grandmother was a Sarah Fisk who married a William Stannard in 1809 in Blythburgh, Suffolk. We think that Sarah (possible baptism 12 Mar 1786 Sotherton, Suffolk) might be the daughter of James Fisk and Elizabeth Elmy and that she had a brother Robert Fisk (baptised 22 Feb 1789 in Reydon, Suffolk). In the 1851 census William Stannard and Robert Fisk are both lodging with Wiiliam Stannards married daughter Maria Miles (nee Stannard). I would appreciate any further information on either the Fisks from Norfolk or my Fisks from Suffolk. Many thanks Cheryl
