red mail BROWN's in Norfolk
I am interested in hearing from anyone who has BROWN's in their tree from this area of Norfolk. Names are Augustine BROWN (my direct ancestor) born c.1821, his brother George BROWN, born c.1817 who was at one time publican at The White Swan public house in Whissonsett, their sisters Martha and Catherine and younger brother, William born c.1839. Parents were Augustine BROWN born c.1876 and Frances SMITH born c.1791. The younger Augustine married Elizabeth SHIP and moved to East Dereham, Norfolk where the oldest of their children, Mary Ann BROWN was born in 1851. My ancestor, their son Augustine was born c.1852 in Swaffham, Norfolk. The family eventually moved to the Woolwich area of London (then Kent) around about 1855 having several more children there.
