red mail Sade Blade
Sad or Sade BLADE was born in Terrington about 1748, the second son to be given that name by his parents, Sad and Mary Blade. Sade was later a peruke maker in London. His mother Mary was born Mary Fisher. Sad was the second of her four husbands. I would love to hear from anyone with connections to the SAD family, as I assume the forename Sad derived from the surname of an ancestor or benefactor.

red mail Looking for Bob Secombe
Bob Secombe was a friend of my fathers who would be in his 70s by now, that is if he is still living. Bob was married and apparently quite a business man; he lived in a house that my father believes was once the village post office. If there is anyone in the community who may know what happened to Bob or his wife I would be extremely grateful.
