I am interested in the Savage family, particularly Robert Savage, (born c 1789) and his son Robert (born 1828), both shoemakers. I am seeking information on the family of Emily Margaret Heyhoe (Hocking)b.1888 in Nhil, Victoria Australia. Emily married Frank Bertram Heyhoe in Western Australia in 1908 and died in 1947 in Perth WA. It is believed that Emily's father was Albert Edward Hocking and that she may have had a sister Elizabeth Jane Hocking. The Hockings most probably migrated to Australia in the early 1800's and were drawn to the Gold Rush area around Ballarat. The Heyhoe's came from Dartford, Kent and Swaffham, Norfolk. Any information on the Hocking family would be specially appreciated.
